Our Show and Tells are one of the ways in which we spark conversations and collaborations between people accessing health services, practitioners, academics, developers, designers and industry. They are a way of bringing an mHealth habitat to life.
Our most recent Show and Tell was on the subject of social media and took a new path in asking Vanessa Garrity to curate the event for us and bring in wonderful people to share their experiences and learning. Vanessa brought together a really interesting mix of speakers – first up was Scotty Bell sharing how he has used social media in his own recovery and in his professional life: Alison Inglehearn sharing her experiences of social media as a mental health nurse; and Zoe talking about the amazing things her son Adam achieved on social media through Twitter which enabled him to engage with a wider world and share his poetry from his hospital bed.
